Each gauge has been rounded and smoothed to create an amazing feel in the hand. 1.00mm and 0.95mm are placed at either ends for the most rigidity and to protect the thinner gauges between them. They are lightly oiled with an odorless mineral oil to ease the separation and attached together with an adjustable pivot screw, so you can loosen or tighten them as desired. It also comes with a clear soft plastic pouch to store and protect them. Made in Japan!

If you are using feeler gages then you are obviously working on something where critical measurements are extremely important. Why buy cheap overseas-made tools when you can pay a few dollars more for a Mitutoyo? There is a reason all great machine shops have Mitutoyo measuring tools. It is strictly because every single tool they make is of the utmost quality and precision.

I have checked the leaves with a precision micrometer and the leaves have a deviation ranging between 2-3 microns for thinner leaves and up to 4-6 microns for leaves thicker than 0,5mm. I was expecting something better from Mitutoyo for its brand. Packing several leaves will lead to error greater than 0,01 mm.Otherwise it is a good quality product although it is not stainless steel.

Well made. East to remove and replace blades but I suggest making changes while on a flat surface.DIVISIONS (mm): .05, .07, .08, .09, .1, .11, .12, .13, .14, .15, .2, .25, .3, continue .05 divisions to 1mmComes with a light grease between blades.

This Amazon listing clearly shows that this feeler gauge tool is MADE IN CHINA! Therefore not sure whether other reviewers offered credible statements.

Made in Japan. Outstanding quality. Arrived lightly oiled. I have some Mitutoyo USA tools, and they are not as good as the ones made in Japan.

I use these for work they sre very accurate the price is good the shipping time was better. The quality of this item of course is good and came with the cert. Easy to use. I would of gotten a shorter leaf shim but this was one I could get in a pinch.
