Valve covers worked and fit as expected. Came with everything needed. Looks great. Only complaint, one screw on the baffle was not screwed in all the way but was tight. Easy to fix. I verified all the other screws were tight.

This review is about my experiences with the aluminum option (painted red) fit to a 2005 Nissan Frontier 4.0L. As the title states, I too had an issue pointed-out by another review. The passenger-side cover did not adhere to OEM specification on the coil bolt thread size – too big. It was machined with M8X1.25 course threading for the 3 top coil bolt mounts, and like the other reviewer, I too didn’t realize until AFTER I installed it. Strangely, the driver’s side was fine, as it has the correct M6X1.0 fine threads, permitting the reuse of the OEM bolts. So for the right side, I procured 3 larger bolts, which threaded perfectly into the cover. However, the now larger bolts would not pass through the coil bushing “eyes†– too big. This was nearly a show-stopper, yet I attempted what the other reviewer had done – to slightly bore-out the bushing larger. This worked, but let me say, you’ll need the right tools and know what you’re doing. This was tedious and sketchy work. A drill-press, 5/16 bit, lots of lube, slow/patience, and a steady hand to modify 3 OEM coils. Go too-fast drilling, and you’ll catch/spin the bushing right out of the coil body. I was successful, but moving forward with keeping this product means this frankenstein coil-bolt mismatch means I’ll have to forever bore-out replacement coils - if ever the day.Shipping was fast, well packed. One small paint defect noted. There was a slight chip on the top near the decal sticker. This could have occurred during shipping, yet again, the packaging was done well, insulated, padded, saw no evidence of red paint flakes loose, so I’m assuming these were shipped already having the paint defect. No biggie - I had some red caliper paint, and did a quick touch-up - solved.These are well made, strong, durable. I noticed there are plastic baffles on the inside, and all those many many screws holding them in-place, which initially concerned me, as it’s never a good idea to have inward-facing screws that could vibrate out and fall into the engine. Sooooooo ... I decided to remove one baffle for investigative purposes. YES - there was indeed some adhesive material to add friction to these screws, so they shouldn’t work-loose on their own. I added lock-tight, and reinstalled the baffle. I like that these came with a new PVC valve and gaskets. Install went smooth (aside from the right cover issue) and the covers look great. The fit to the engine was perfect, all lined-up like OEM, once bolted-down, all seemed very professional. I did not reach out to the seller, as I made the choice to work-around/solve the unexpected issues on my own. Overall, I am satisfied, but decided on a lower rating due to the covers not being true to stated compatible vehicle-fit (aka the coil bolt issue).

One side of the cover used the correct size bolts the other was way bigger screw size..the bolt was a slight bigger than the hole in the coil pack, had to drill out to fit larger bolt. Would have sent back but needed vehicle.

I wish I could say it was perfect. It was close though. Beautiful product. Correct fit. Came with all the seals. The one I received has the wrong size screw holes on the left cover for the spark coil screws. Now I have to go buy some screws that fit. The right side was correct. All in all a good product though.

Was a little skeptical considering its a Chinese Product, but they felt good, install was easy, all the bolts were right, no leaks and looks good in the engine bay

Since my order the silver aluminum product has been added, listing images still shows the black covers saying they are aluminum.Covers fit close enough, front breather hose barb is smaller than the original, #4 bolt is a tight fit.

The covers themselves were fine. The passenger side gasket was split. I didn't notice it until after I installed it and found the leak. Inspect the gasket before installing it.
