Exactly what I was looking for decided to cut the factory mounting plate instead of using the one that came with only cus it was much stronger but over all it works excellent

The product assembly and installation leaves a lot to be desired. There are other options out there that offer a better design and much better options for installation. I would not recommend this, I sent mine back as it’s just a poor quality, and installation leaves a lot to be desired to meet the quality of my truck

Based on crappy instructions I submitted a return of the product, after which reviewed the installation on youtube and opted to go for it. Youtube instructions are somewhat vague and incomplete but when combined with the paper instructions its a doable project. I DO NOT recommend cutting the original mounting bracket and using it as a time saver and avoiding the hassle of installing the new mounting bracket. Also, you have to remove another existing bracket to make room for installation, some folks on youtube indicate you can discard it. Not so, it can be re-installed after the step has been installed. I'm not 100% happy with the step in the upright, stored position, it looks crooked but when dropped it appears level. Also, it feels a tad bit bouncy when standing on it. Overall and for the cost I'm content with the purchase.

There is a video that describes moving the bumper trim brace before installing the step. That is all mine required. Brace was reinstalled and all clearances are fine.

Am 50 years old., looking the step like this for my truck. It helping me to jump on the truck bed quick and easy. SAVE MY JOINT HEALTH !!It fit keep closed to truck body see pictures.

Quality seems okay but the step is made of plastic. Would be better if its made of metal with rubber on it.

Absolute waste of money on this very dangerous piece of cheap plastic. See the pictures for where the step broke on the second time I used it. After reading the reviews, I can see that it broke in the same spot as all of the others. DO NOT BUY.

Step broke off after 5000km of use. Do NOT waste your money on this. Didn't want to spend the money for one directly from Toyota but probably should have.
