These trays are easy to assemble, and so helpful. Our seeds fit in the cups well. The dome keeps in the moisture well and warm inside, so our seedlings pooped up very fast! I wasn’t expecting them grow so quickly honestly, and I started them maybe 2-3 weeks too early lol. For some of my plants, like carrots and squash, I’ll have to put them in a bigger container and it’s only been a week.The containers breath well at the bottom and you can allow them to self water once the grow their own roots by feeling the tray up with water. And I like being able to pick up the clear trays to check on the root systems. The kids think that’s so cool.

I sooooo love these, I ordered another set...great to start seed in the transfer to a 4 inch pot. Would love a set that is larger but great materials, love the vented dome. Just perfect

I started the germination process with the seeds wrapped a damp paper towel inside of a ziploc, and then I transferred the seedlings to these mini greenhouses. We had many successful cucumbers, tomatoes, and bell peppers that were eventually planted into a raised garden bed.Next time, I’ll start with seeds directly inside of the growing trays.These are lightweight and practically disposable, but they work really well for their intended purpose. If necessary, you could probably clean them out and get 2 growing seasons out of them.

This seed starting tray is decent for the price. Easy to use and quick to set up. But of course since it's made of thin plastic, sturdiness and durability is about what you'd expect. Removing the seedlings from the inside seedling tray is easy as the tray has a soft base which allows the dirt and roots to be easily pushed out with your fingers.Don't leave the green bottom upside down and exposed directly to sunlight though. I did this and i guess it got hot enough to melt and deform the plastic so now a couple of my bottom green trays are crinkled and doesn't sit flat. Also, the top clear humidity dome is very light and just sits on the rim of the green bottom tray, so you'll need a small weight to place on top of it if the area you plan to place the tray at is windy.

I got these for starting small groups of transplants where I didn't want to tie up a large tray, and they worked well! The only problem I had with them is that I forgot to open up my plant tower on a bright, sunny, Summer day and the ones I left on the top rack melted and distorted - not the fault of the starter trays. They are a bit sturdier than my 72 cell starters and never cracked or broke during use. The water tray edges are formed over to provide extra durability and support and the cell trays are thicker and are clear to examine root development. These starters are great for putting on the window sill or under grow lights. I was disappointed to have ruined a couple of mine, but I'm sure I will order more when the need arises.

I wanted to begin a few plants indoors for transplanting outside this sprong. I needed a smaller tray to fit under by grow light source. These were the perfect size. Very easy to use. Even though I only planted my seeds about 5 days ago, some have already germinated. I think being able to control humidity has also helped them.

Just got these in the mail and they are perfect for starting seeds!Each tray comes with 12 pots, drip tray and a clear plastic lid with a vent attachment.I particularly like the vent addition to the lid because you can either keep it completely closed to keep higher humidity levels, or you can partially or fully have it open for less humidity depending on the plant needs or stage of growth.I also enjoy how convenient this set makes it for space requirements. I have all 10 of these trays on my windowsill but if I needed to move some to another area for different lighting or something, these trays make it very possible versus other seed starting trays on the market that tend to have all pots in a single wider and longer tray.Lastly, these trays come with 10 white labels to label your seedlings which was a nice touch and they were very easy to write on with a fine tip sharpie.
