Everything arrived in great shape. The lights work and the cells were intact. These are the perfect size for my small house to start my flower seeds this year. I'll be saving money this year compared to the cost of buying trays of annuals, like I have in the past.

Love the size, although I was not expecting to get 12 in each box so that was a nice little surprise for me. Super easy to put together (I don’t typically start with instructions) and love the vented, tall lids with built in lights. Easy 5 âï¸ for me

This is a great way to start a small batch of seedlings, but I have very little hope the product will last more than a few seasons. While the lid and base tray are made of fairly sturdy plastic, the seed cells (which will get the most use) are quite thin.

I recently bought a different brand and was completely dissatisfied with the quality and cheap plastic it was made of. It came bent to where the lid didn't even work right. I returned that item and found this item and ordered it. It came within 2 days.What caught my attention the most about these trays over the rest was the pictures showing how sturdy the material looked. Well the pictures don't lie. The material is sturdy and the tray design has the added benefit of being able to clearly see the water levels and root development. These trays are reusable and I'm sure can withstand several seasons. If you buy cheap trays they'll probably crumble and cause more headaches than necessary. Buy these, they're well worth the price. The plastic is made of high quality grade plastic that's made to last unlike the other purchase and fits perfectly over the tray. I am so happy that I found this item.I order a couple sets of these to start seeds for spring. I've already used a few of them and find them to be very durable and easy to use. I especially like the little disk that goes on top to control the humidity. That has worked well in that you can control each tray separately. They are durable enough that I would expect to used them for multiple seasons and I especially like that they all stack together nicely for storage. I initially thought them a bit pricey but I do think they are well worth it.Recently had to do a bunch of new seeds and they require a very humid environment, so I got a couple of these and transferred the freshly germinated seeds from test-tubes to these better containers and then put them in this dome so far I've noticed some pretty great improvements for more than half of the seeds. this thing really keeps the humidity perfect, if you don't like it you can rotate the plastic green spots to vent. will definitely be buying more of these in the future.I am excited to keep using them and start some hot peppers in them next week.

These work as expected. The plastic is not too thin and flimsy, just right. I like that I can adjust the vent holes to keep in some humidity.

These are great for starting seeds IF you have an alternate grow light source! I do NOT recommend using the light that comes with these trays. I tried it and most of my seedlings are extremely leggy after the first week of growth. Note my pictures attached. I am very disappointed, as I thought getting the higher top would give my seedlings more room to grow. But it would have been better to get the shorter tops because at least then, the light would be closer to them sooner. I even tried to put something under the tray to lift it up but the lip fits on the inner clear tray so it still will not allow the light any closer to my seedlings. I ended up having to use my only grow light (that was keeping my passionfruit plant alive until spring) to keep these seedlings from being a complete flop. I hope it helps. This was a waste of money for me, as I only needed more light. I have plenty of trays already….

These are very sturdy and well made. I just got them and filled them today, so I don't know how well they will germinate or if they will stop working like the other reviews, but for the price, I am going to order more. I will try to update when my seeds germinate.

Clear cells are a great idea. To see how the roots are growing is very helpful. I have used one season but they look like they will last several more.

I like everything about this product. Seedling will have sufficient room to grow. The starter kit has all the necessary components to grow seeds.I bought the smaller cells from the same source last year and although they were great for sowing seeds in general, there wasnnot much room for tomatoes. So these bigger cells are good for tomatoes and other seedlings that need ample space to grow.I highly recommend this seed starter kit.
