I honestly don't know why I didn't get one of these sooner. I keep my Kitchen Aide mixer tucked off into a corner of my kitchen, and dread pulling it out for use. That thing gets heavy after a while!This sliding mat is exactly what I needed, and it's made pulling my mixer out and stashing it back so much easier. It glides along my countertop with no scratches, no drag, just smooth and easy as can be!It is very unobtrusive against my countertop, which is predominantly black, and has made using my mixer an absolute joy again.

This is twice as thick as those other slider mats. This is the luxury model! fits great with no large extra gap length. I have the bamboo and I like how the base is solid and does not have any open gaps around the edges. The nylon sliders work smoothy and does not scratch the countertop. The bamboo is smooth all around with no sharp edges. Very nice!

This is a nice base for a Kitchenaid mixer. It is lightweight and durable material and fits the mixer perfectly. It does slide across the counter very easily, but I would like for it to grip as well so that it could be used as a base when the mixer is working.

I got this to keep the mixer in place on my counter and avoid scratching the counter. It works fine. The fit of the mixer is perfect and it looks nice too. We used it to make brownies and it works just as described. And while storing the mixer it's nice to have the wooden base. It is finished in polyurethane and should hold up well.

I have seen the "slides" for the mixer before but ignored them. My mom has a Kitchen Aid stand mixer and I asked her why she wasn't baking any longer. She said it was too difficult to maneuver the mixer. (She's 88.) This product was perfect. Now she can easily slide it out to use it, to clean the countertop off, etc. The black slider matches the black Kitchen Aid, so you don't even know it's there.Perfect!

This mixer slider mat is so nice. It fits under my kitchen aid mixer perfectly. It slides super easily on my granite countertops. I like the black color, it matches my mixer super well. This slider makes it easy to move the heavy mixer around to clean the counter or to simply move from it from under the upper cabinets.
