This Graphtech guitar nut is a very high quality peace of guitar tech. The quality is better than most ,If not all factory nuts and saddles .I use it and highly recommend anyone with a freted instrument try it .. Form and function is what you get with this nut and saddles.There is no going back after you try the Graphtech the GT-PT-611-00. Most importantly my tone has never sounded better ..

High quality drop in replacement is an almost perfect fit for Revstar RS320. String spacing, height, length, width and radius are all a tiny bit different but the new nut was so close that it installed with just a little sanding to remove some flashing from the bottom. Tuning and intonation are right on after installing this new Tusq nut along with a new Gotoh bridge (B0789PPSXK).

For anyone that owns a Yamaha Revstar, you know that the plastic nut on those is pretty sucky. The tuners are pretty sucky too if we're being honest. They look great, but need to be replaced for good tuning stability. For those interested go check out some Gotoh SG301-MG-T, button style 04. All the Revstar's have the same nut and have the same neck radius. One Revstar model in particular, the RSP20CR, is the only model that has a TUSQ nut as basic equipment from Yamaha. Since the neck is identical on my RS502T to the RSP20CR, i reached out to yamaha and asked what was the part number they use on the RSP20CR. They provided me with Part #WU137900. This correlates to graphtech part number BT-6114-00. BT-6114-00 is equivalent to PT-6114-00, except the BT means bulk packaging. This is why I bought the PT-6114-00 for my revstar RS502T.Now, those that are looking for a drop in replacement need to understand that you cannot just drop this in. I had to sand the bottom of the TUSQ nut quite a bit to get to a close height where the strings would lie correctly. After i was satisfied with the height, there was further adjustment that was required to get the string height from the first fret appropriate so the strings were not sharp when fretted. I did need to nut slot file the upper 4 string slots a fair amount to get the position I wanted. I didn't own a set of files, so I bought the Stew-Mac nut slotting files, and they worked perfectly.Overall I am much happier with the TUSQ nut than the Urea plastic nut Yamaha ships these Revstars with. But beware that you probably will need to be savvy enough to do some nut fitment, or take it to a luthier if you are not.

Great sounding material. All in all, it sounds great with great sustain. However with my PRS A20E acoustic, it fretted out the high E string on install. Put a piece of paper in the slot to lift the string slightly and the buzz went away. Good but not for my PRS A20E.

Graphtech nuts are always perfect.With a little manual skills you will install this very easily. Before buy check the measurements of your nut.

Great product. It truly does improve tone. When I play my guitar unplugged, I notice a definite increase in clarity and overall fullness of tone. Plus, the material is easy to sand and work with. You don’t have to be an expert to install it. As with all Graph tech products, it helps keep your guitar in tune. Highly recommended.
