The price was fair. After reading a review that your pipe needed to be 4 inches length for this nozzle to fit I was apprehensive. I took a chance with my skill knowledge being my pipe length was barely 3 and a half. This nozzle fits just fine and looks great. It has a set screw under the nozzle to tighten to your pipe, but don’t over do it. The Crome finish is of excellent quality and all metal, not plastic. A happy purchase.

Make sure your pipe is long enough for this spout. Needs 3.25 minimum and 4.25 maximum. My contractor tried to install it and it locked up inside. We now cannot separate or move at all the plastic interior from the metal spout cover, so I cannot access the set screw to use it. Very disappointed.It looks real nice though and seems like good quality.

I bought this used-like new. it came with the set screw, and is the MOEN version for attaching to a 1/2 copper pipe.It fit perfectly onto my copper pipe end that had about 4 inches sticking out from tub wall.The confusion in comments seem to be that MOEN makes this type, sliding onto copper pipe end, and another version that uses screw threads.this one the pipe needs to be 2.5 to 4.5 inches sticking out of tub.the threaded version shows 5.25 is needed with thread on the end.the little instructions included shows both threaded and un-threaded faucet versions, so it's confusing.make sure you order the correct one.

I ordered the used spout to save money. It arrived quickly and was in excellent condition with one exception -- the set screw was missing. Luckily, I'd saved the old spout and the screw was the right size. Other than that, I like the length (no more water splashing on the rim or overflow of my garden tub) and how it looks on my tub. It was well worth the upgrade from the dinky spout installed by my home builder.

I don't know why I thought this was a good deal. It's a Moen product but came in a plain white box without Moen label. The water splatters all over when it comes out of the spout. It soaks the silicone at the head of the tub behind the spout. For $12 guess I got what I paid for.
