Holding down rugs. Don't walk bare foot on the tape, you will stick, and socks really stick, rugs don't move when used.

I love this tape for keeping rugs in place on tile, wood, and marble floors. It really does the trick of keeping them in place. This is important to me because my in-laws are 85 and not very stable on their feet, so I know this will keep them safe.

The product does hold rugs in place. However, if you remove your rugs for floor cleaning, the tape will hold to the floor in some places. Be prepared to remove the tape from the floor as you start to lift and reapply it to the rug.I'm going to leave the tape on the rugs but have ordered some common non-skid but non-sticking full liners. I plan to "attach" the liners to the tape on the rug then relay the rugs. I believe this will work better for floor cleaning.

I can't complain, because Amazon is giving me a full refund. But it costs half as much at Wal-Mart, as I discovered after the fact. It does stick to the floor when you remove the rug, but that is not a real problem; I just reattach it when I put the rug back down. It definitely keeps the rug from sliding and prevents potentially serious accidents!

The roll I received has very poor adhesion on one side to the point of being useless. It was as if it was dried out or had been on the shelf too long.The side of the tape that has to be peeled off was the only side that had adequate adhesion.. The other thing about this web style of tape is how difficult it is to get it separated from the backing. It is frustrating and difficult even when using something like a pin or pointed object to get it started. I would recommend going with and regular carpet tape that does have this "Web Like" style of tape.

There’s cheaper carpet “tape†out there but I like that this is not a true adhesive but it’s sticky enough to hold the carpet in place without leaving a residue.
