I bought the clear ones to use on my wood floors to hold the chair mat as it kept sliding around. Just two of them hold the mat on place now. Very happy!

UPDATE 1/9/24 - While this particular product didn't work for me, this update isn't about the actual product but IS about the seller, I felt it necessary to update to say that the seller is very honest and helpful. After my review of the product the seller contacted me offering a full refund and was true to their word. The refund was processed in a timely manner and the correspondence was kind and understanding. Bottom line is: This is an honorable seller and I will not hesitate to purchase from them in the future should they have a product I'm interested in. Thank you seller!These are so terrible I can't even give them one star in any category! My mat moves all over the place as if there are no grippers beneath it, one in each corner. I followed the instructions to a T. I vacuumed the floor then washed the floor and the mat where the grippers were being placed at in each corner. I allowed everything to dry before applying these "grippers" and the mat moves around like there are no grippers at all! Not worth the money!

I bought this to use under the corners of my plexiglass floor mat. It does not work for that purpose. All it did was roll up and the floor mat still shifted. However, the seller was great to work with and offered me a full refund even though I had already used some of the product.

These work pretty well with a rug on hardwood or laminate hardwood flooring. The clear pack I bought lasted about two years before the stickiness was gone. I bought more in January to try to keep a plastic computer chair mat in place on a rug and they did not stick at all.

I bought these to keep my mobile phone on the dash of my car without sliding everywhere. And what do you know, it works. I haven't used them on my rug because my dog's favorite past-time is zooming through the living room and loves to burrow so he moves it around anyway. But, seeing how well this works in my car with my phone, I'm betting it would work just as well under my rug.

I bought an 8 pack of these for my new condo and they did not stick to the floor. The area rug still kept sliding. I cleaned the floor well, let the floor dry and added weights to the silicone corner holders overnight. Within two days, the rug corner holders came undo.They unfortunately did not work for me so I went back to the square ones I purchased previously.

These are very sticky and hence, very adhesive and would work great on an area rug. I bought them to keep a large (36"x60") plastic cutting mat in place on my cutting table, as the mat wants to curl on all the corners. Despite these tabs being very sticky, this mat is quite stiff and the tabs can't seem to prevent the mat from curling. But I think this is a great product under the circumstance that they were meant to be used for.

Installing them was a bit tricky as there were no instructions on how to do so. I figured the sticker has to go to the bottom of the rug and then the gripper sticks to the sticker on the bottom of the rug. They stay in place for the most part unless your rug has a lot of friction on it. Usually the gripper curls up after a while and I just have to flatten it against the sticker part again for it to work. I would probably be better on certain flooring types but it still works for the most part. Very good I would still recommend this product.
