I put these up in my RV during the winterHelps keep the mildew smell down. I like this better than the kind with a bowl and pellets you put in the top. This makes way less of a mess for me

never leave reviews but this was that bad! the hooks are impossible to snap and the hanger doesn’t even fit a rack? cheap and poorly made. would rather pay significantly more for a product that works

I was a bit taken aback when I opened these and saw how small they were compared to the well known name brand ones that I have used in the past. I've waited a while until we got some weather that would up the humidity in the large L shaped basement closet that runs under my stairs where I put them to test. The 4 combined seem to be about the size of maybe one of the larger ones I normally use.I hung all 4 around the closet and they seem to work great and are collecting water in the bottoms. And in this case I think there are great reasons to want to get some of these smaller ones over the larger ones. The ones in the back of the closet seem to have more water in them confirming what I thought that the humidity was not being adequately controlled in the back with one near the door I normally use of the larger ones. I think that may help keep the humidity more consistent in that closet as there is no vent or airflow to bring all the air to the one I had handing previously. I also think they would be great if you have a humidity issue in your car as hanging those larger ones can sometimes result in them falling and spilling if you do emergency avoidance moves or in smaller areas like inside a cabinet.I am a little concerned about the hangers because you have to attach them and they don't seem all that well connected and I'm afraid they might separate if the water gets heavy but so far they are hanging on just fine. But if they started letting go I would simply duct tape them on.

I'm a long time user of water-eating bags like this, so naturally I snap them up as fast as they appear when it comes to product testing. Pictured is a regular sized, name-brand moisture absorber I regularly buy for my closet. The tiny little thing next to it is this product. A laughably small size that will fill instantly in my closet. I have never seen a sadder, more pathetic moisture absorber in my life. Instead of using these in my closet, I put them in small spaces like under the sink. I don't expect something this absolutely minuscule to last long at all. Avoid and purchase a normal size! Also, that hook? Sad! A normal size will fit on my closet hanger rack easily. The hook on this product has to be attached to, and snapped to the bag. It is thin and tiny, and at times difficult to snap.

These moisture absorbers are much smaller than the ones I normally use. They do work, but you have to keep an eye on them for leakage.

The hook design is awful. I could not get the hooks to close through the too many holes in the bag. What I ended up doing was using two paper clips and a hanger as my MacGyver option. This is a simple item that would’ve made the product so much better, However, it is what it is.With that being said, this works as well as any other moisture absorber bags that I’ve used in the past.

It’s that fabulous time of year when humidity raises to 80%, indoors, while the outdoors temps hover in the 40/50 range with non-stop rain until April—this means mold rears its nasty head in every dark corner inside of our partially buried home. We heavily rely on dehumidifiers and these moisture absorbing, desiccant packs to slow the growth and spread (we also use a mold prevention/treatment spray but that stuff smells horrible and taints our clothes, so we tend to not use it in the closets.)These particular moisture absorbers work like many others we’ve used. They come individually sealed in plastic, which has a notch cut into the rim for easy opening. The bag itself is relatively small, about the size of an iPad mini or typical paperback novel. Each bag contains a plastic hanger which must be clipped on, this part is relatively simple but can be painful for delicate or arthritic hands. Once the clip is installed, it’s as easy as hanging up a T-shirt in the closet. We put ours low to the ground, in corners of the closets and behind wood furniture where heat from the wall heaters doesn’t reach, and where we tend to get mold most often. Due to our high humidity (it hovers around 60% in the closets, even with the dehumidifiers) these bags fill up in about a month and must be replaced. Removal is as simple as installation, but requires cutting a corner off of the filled bag—hold it upside down to avoid spilling—and draining the liquid into the toilet. Once the bag is empty we dispose into the trash and then hang another moisture absorbing bag. When necessary, we get creative by hanging these fishing line that’s tethered to an anchor point nearby, and sometimes we use a wire hanger to help reach hard-to-reach areas behind furniture. The important part to note is that the absorber bag must be hung vertically for it work properly.
