Filter is 1" thick as advertised, but should actually be a bit thinner to fit easily. Once it is in place, it has to be slightly crushed to get the pre-filter in front of it.

Purchased for my Santa Fe dehumidifier. Exact fit, although the factory-installed filter was MERV-13. I'm not sure if these are truly MERV-8 filters as they seem awfully thin. Either way, they are VERY expensive considering that they are just some paper and chicken wire.Recommend sourcing some in-store somewhere else for a lower price.
