This is the third Monroe stabilizer that I have installed on my 2006 Ram 2500. This one seems to be working great so far after two weeks of driving. My other ones lasted a year or so until they started leaking. If you have other front end problems such as bad tie rod ends or ball joints, this will only make it seem better and leads to more stress on the stabilizer. 4 stars for price, fast shipping and the fact that it still feels tight and working properly.

I put these on my 2005 Dodge 2500 Diesel and they made a significant difference in the way the truck rides and handles. With my old shocks it felt like I was riding in a covered wagon. With these shocks the truck rides so smooth. Looking to buy these shocks for my other vehicles. That’s how great they e worked for me.

The Monroe steering damper fits and works just as the OEM damper did. It totally tightened my steering to what it felt like when new. The old damper was leaking and I had gotten used to how sloppy it felt but now things are tight again. The only problem I had was I couldn't get the old one off as it was pressed into the steering linkage and had to take it to a shop where they replaced it in about 45 minutes. Cost me an extra $108 bucks in addition to the cost of the damper but in the end it was worth it. For those that have the proper tools and a good place to do it (neither of which I have) the damper will be an easy and worthwhile upgrade to an aged factory damper.

Old damper was completely toast and caused issues. This new one made for safer and better steering which was right away noticeable.
