The solid metal construction and evenly applied powdercoat make this item more than a simple decoration. The price of this item is on the low range of what these go for, but that does not indicate poor quality. The quality is very good, it was shipped securely and goes together in no time at all. The angle of the base can be adjusted to pretty much any roof pitch, and it could even mount on a thick post or 4x4. This adds a whole different visual dimension to our little backyard chicken coop.

I installed this on top of my shed a couple years ago. It had withstood wind, rain, snow, and hail. My son recently hit it with a baseball. I thought it was a goner. I was surprised there was nothing wrong with it. I just needed to put it back up reset it and tighten it back up.

The product looks just like the picture. I was a little tricky to attach to the roof and there were not any directions that came with the product.The N,S,E,W letters stay in place and the chicken on the arrow rotates in the wind. It does need a significant gust to rotate the chicken. The Vane is black and looks great on the roof! It feels and looks like it's made of wrought iron.Very Farmy Looking. Good Product.

Bought this for my little chicken coop. Perfect size and is solid material. It was easy to install. As far as if it really works... I don't know because we haven't had any wind. The way the rooster piece sits on top, it really moves and spins easily so it seems that if the wind were to blow that it would work the way it should. But either way, I don't care because the point was to make my little coop in the city feel like the farm. Really pleased with my purchase!

I purchased this weathervane for our new chicken coop. I was concerned whether or not the 24 inch size would be large enough for the size of the coop. It looks great and works well too. It has held up to some pretty stiff continuous winds. Very nice product, a good value.

Looks very nice and it is made of iron, heavy & durable. Took a while to get (about a month) but it was worth the wait.

Bought this to put on the top of our chicken coop. Nice quality, easy to put together and mount. Very happy with the product. Bought as an Amazon Warehouse buy at a discounted price and was in perfect (complete) shape. Have had it up for a month now and looks and works great.
