Takes some getting used to, and likely based on the tile you will have some breakage even after deep scoring. But it sure beats the price for alternative ways of cutting the 47†tile I needed to cut long ways. I have best success if I score several times until there’s no more grinding sound of the scoring wheel, and then I apply slow gradual pressure with the breaker about 5 mm from one edge.

I got this cuz of price for a tile job I got that I had to install 24â€x48†floor n wall tile. Lemme tell ya this cutter exceeded my expectations. It cut a 1†rip by 48†long. Compared to the price of a ruby at $800 this cutter is a steal
