These hood up just as good as any other brand. And I have tried them all. These are the only blades I buy now since the price is so low.Don’t let the low price scare you. I wouldn’t even compare these to Milwaukee because their 8/10 blades only lasted 2 cuts and the weld seam broke.

Well they do cut metal but not really as good as the Milwaukee thick steel cutting blades, but they do work pretty good, and I got several cuts from each blade, so they will do if you need a blade and these are what’s available, but if I have a choice between these and Milwaukee, then it’s the big W for me

Great bandsaws, terrible packaging. I've ordered this amazing product at least a dozen times. I use them for cutting steel and titanium mostly. They're the best I've used."Lake Warehouse" shipped my double order and decided to take the saws out of the box they come in, and fold them up and tape them, I'm assuming, to fit into a smaller shipping container. This is a ridiculous, and dangerous move. These things, when folded, are spring-like, and will immediately go back to their circular shape as soon as the masking tape, they used to hold the shape, was cut. The last thing anyone needs is an unexpected, very fast moving bandsaw blade. Original packaging only please!

I've tried the other MK Morse tooth profiles/counts and the 8/11 is absolutely where it is at. I had experienced quite a few broken blades with the ~14-18 tooth counts. I think the cheap steel plate I'm usually cutting has hard carbide nodules that will strip the teeth or break the blades. The much coarser 8/11 takes a bigger (and cooler) chip and I think it is more like to get behind the carbides on the bite and back into the steel. I was ready to throw away my portaband before I found these blades. I'm a believer again.
