About this item

  • Milled teeth are 50 PERCENT SHARPER than competitors stamped or crush ground blades
  • Precision Induction hardening throughout the blade vs competitors flame hardening
  • Tooth edge is 20 PERCENT harder than any high carbon steel resulting in extended sharp time
  • More ductile steel than any high carbon steel leads to extended flex life and a cooler running blade

Timber Wolf's use of premium Swedish steels, proprietary induction hardening methods and exclusive tooth milling processes has created some of the finest woodworking blades in the world. Milling the teeth of the blades into a piece of strip steel produces a finished, razor sharp edge without ever having to stamp or grind the teeth. Induction hardening allows for different but more precise hardness throughout the blade. These unique manufacturing techniques along with the use of Swedish Silicon steel and the highest quality alloys set these blades apart from all other wood blades. This PC (Positive Claw) blade has sixty percent of the feed speed capabilities of a hook tooth, while at the same time giving you the great finish of a skip tooth. The depth and roundness of the gullet increases sawdust removal and cutting speed while the milled teeth help to reduce consumption of horsepower. Couple all this with our unique 6.5 degree rake angle and special 5 tooth set pattern and you have an awesome cutting blade that glides through the wood and produces an excellent finish and gives you great overall life.

Love this blade and it is far better thN what I was using. I cut a good amount of hickory so we shall see how it holds up.

I came across a great deal on a used Delta bandsaw and went through it from top to bottom with bearings, knobs, adjusters and such. The blade seemed sharp enough so I kept it. Since this is my 1st bandsaw I had no reference point for how one should cut. But, fortunately for me, the blade that came with the saw had a little wobble to it and I thought it best to replace it, hence the order for the Timber Wolf. When the blade came I was a little disappointed since it arrived in a plastic bag with a photocopied set of instructions. I was expecting a more commercial packaging and questioned the seller about the authenticity of this actually being a Timber Wolf. He responded back immediately and informed me that the manufacturer of the Timber Wolf brand sells to them only in bulk and and that every reseller has to package them with their own choice of packaging.Satisfied with his response, I mounted up the blade and adjusted it for tension and alignment. Holy cow!! I was totally unprepared for the difference between it and the original blade. It seriously cuts effortlessly. As others have mentioned, it tracks true and the cuts are straight and clean.I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to take the time to do this. The seller was awesome, the blade arrived on time and the blade is phenomenal. Buy one (or more) with confidence. No regrets.

Since I am relatively new to bandsaws, I didn't realize there could be much difference between blade brands. But after purchasing 3 different width Timber Wolf blades, it didn't take but one use to change my mind. After carefully following their blade tension instructions and lubricating each blade before use with spray cooking oil, it was like I had a new bandsaw. Sawing a treated 2"x4" on edge was like cutting 3/4" basswood on my old blades. There is no drift whatsoever and the finished cut is very smooth for such an aggressive grind. Best of all, the blades are so uniform, changing blades (3/16", 3/8" and 3/4") requires almost no re-tensioning. And after several months of heavy use, I have not noticed any decrease in performance. When it comes time to replace, I will be ordering these same blades. Truly a great combination of performance for the price.

Excellent blade...better than the cheaper knock offs. Don't scrimp on blades...these are worth it.
