While installing it, it snapped completely flush with the thermostat due to very thin and brittle walls for the screw. I hadn’t even had it installed all the way before it snapped and now I’m taking a trip to the store to get JB weld to hopefully be able to remove it so that I don’t have to buy a new engine.

This sensor circuit should be normally open untill the motor reaches temperature and then it should close to turn the fan on. this one has the fan running the minute you turn on the key.
