Installation takes about 5 minutes. Takes longer to bleed air out of system. Lower temperature than stock one which was 202. This one is 192.

I bought the 180 degree version (10 degrees lower than my stock thermostat) and it works exactly as described. Maintains a steady 180 degrees.

Did the cooling fan swap and used this thermostat. Perfect combo to keep my Ram the perfect temperature.

This came with the needed o'ring gasket and it is heavy duty. I tested in a pan of water on the stove with a meat thermometer and this opened reliably at the advertised temp over and over again. Been working great ever since.

I've been using MotoRad tstats in my vehicles for several years, but this one failed closed just 3 months after installation, causing the car to overheat. In another vehicle, I installed MotoRad 7426-190 Failsafe 20 months ago, and it also failed closed 2 days ago causing my truck to overheat while towing a 40ft trailer. I am done with MotoRad!

This was installed in my 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 truck shortly after it arrived (April 2023) and has been holding strong. Good product so far 🤞ðŸ»ðŸ¤žðŸ» was also a great price so win- win!
