FORD SW-5130Finally one that works! I’ve tried cheaper ones from O’Reillys and AutoZone they didn’t work. Can’t believe there’s so many alike aftermarket & how specific of a sensor it has to be

I tried 2 different cheaper brand sensors but they were giving inaccurate readings. This is the only one to use for Ford vehicles.

If your 1999 F350 Lariat 7.3 liter diesel has a dash gauge, this is the only fitment that will work. This is an OEM Motorcraft sending unit. Aftermarket coolant temperature sensors will not work if you have a gauge. Aftermarket coolant temperature sensors are seemingly designed for trucks with "dummy lights".Forget purchasing at auto box stores, unless they carry the Motorcraft SW5130 Sender.

I have an 02 F250 with 7.3 Diesel engine. There are 2 types of temp sending units that can work for this type of engine. This was one of them and didn't work for my truck. It was a different model.

Arrived in a factory package within a bigger bag. I usually refer to the factory parts for dependability and less issues
