Shark vacuum was not sucking very well. Turned it over and found the tube at the bottom full of holes. Jumped on the web and found these replacement tubes for my model of Shark vacuum. Then I got on YouTube and found how to take the vacuum apart and insert the tube. Pretty easy at this point. Yes, there are a lot of screws! However, it will save you from buying a whole new vacuum. Make sure to layout your screws as a template on a sheet of paper in the exact locations-they are all different sizes. It sucks so much better!

My Shark vacuum is about 5 years old and I had noticed the hose splitting from age and constant flexing. This hose seems better made, but I did have to cut a few inches off as it was too long. I had to use tin snips and cutting vice grips to snap the metal coil running through the hose to get the right length. The Shark uses security Torx screws in the rotating head assembly, and disassembling and reassembling the unit was quite cumbersome and takes time. Taking out the old hose is easy, but getting the new one in was a challenge. This is not a complaint about this product, just an observation about the Shark's design. Watch a how-to video first if you've never done this before. Take your time and be patient.

For the price, this is a great deal, especially compared to buying a whole new attachment. Installation was pretty straightforward, and I didn't even need to glue it in (very snug fit). It was a little long. It wasn't so long that I needed to trim it, but it did require extra attention to ensure that parts didn't shift when putting it all back together again. Vacuum (hv301) is back to working well again.

Purchased to replace the broken original hose in the Shark vacuum. Great quality hose, pre-measured so I only had to make small cut adjustments, and after replacement the vacuum worked like new. Sold in the 2 pack so now I have a spare, really glad I was able to repair the vac instead of wastefully replace.

Excellent quality and fit perfectly. Installation was difficult as discussed by many due to equipment design. These issues were corrected in later versions but it still sucks when your old machine works fine except for a small piece of hose.

There is a pic of the Shark Rocket Motorized Head and the Floor non motorized head. This is NOT long enough for the non motorized floor part. The dimension is wrong also and it just flops around. I had to slide this tube into the original hose that broke. Luckily I had enough of a piece to do that otherwise I would have had to return. That shows just how wrong the width is, that it fits inside the original hose. Way too short. The quality is pretty good so I kept it and rigged it.

This hose fit my Shark vacuum power nozzle brush very well. It is a tight fit which is good that I know it will not fall apart on me. The replacement seems to be a bit better made than my original. Now we will see how long it will last.

We needed to replace this hose in out vacuum cleaner. Went on you tube and followed a video on how to replace it. Works great now and only $25. for 2 hoses, a vacuum repair shop wanted a minimum of $65.00.Gotta love it.
