We are stoked to offer one of the world’s only plant-based waxes! For context, nearly all ski wax is made from petroleum.
We design all of our products with these standards in mind.
All of our products are made in the USA and our solid waxes are even hand-poured!
PLANT-BASED
Our Hot Wax and Quick Wax are made entirely from plant-based products. Whereas most ski wax is made from petroleum, created as a by-product of the oil refining process, our wax contains 0% petroleum.
As your skis slide on the snow, small pieces of the wax are pulled out of your bases and into the snowpack. With a traditional ski wax, petroleum and/or fluorocarbon particles are transported into the snowpack and eventually into the watershed. With mountainFLOW’s wax, only pieces of all-natural, plant wax are introduced into the environment.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
After 2 years of R&D and over 200 formulations, we developed a line of plant-based wax that worked just as well as conventional, petroleum-based wax.
Our Hot Wax has earned a reputation for above average durability - lasting 4 to 6 days.
Our Quick Wax is easy to apply and works great in all conditions.
Our Skin Wax improves glide while maintaining a solid kick. By keeping the skins dry, snow buildup is reduced and skins stay light and fast.

Very easy to use and it is really slick. I use this on top of my solid rub on wax and it is really slick on the slopes, especially your initial runs. I got some on my wood floor and it is super slippery at that spot. Highly recommended as supplement to your waxed equipment.

I thought I would give it a try. Seemed so easy if it helped but honestly after a few tries never actually noticed any difference after applying I will not repurchase.

In this modern world I think we can all agree that sometimes a skin rag just won't do the trick - lube that tube brah! MountainFLOW's application is a breeze and comes spritzing out like a fine mist reminiscent of cracking that first cold one once you've reached summit. Best part (besides that it works) is that it's environment friendly so you don't have to worry about your ski merkin leaving a chem trail on the backcountry. FLOW is easier than wax and still keeps the white stuff at bay better than a sneeze guard at a strip club. My one suggestion would be to give it a good smell like campfire or peppermint -maybe a special edition in the future!!

The spray worked well initially, but seemed to wear off. Reapplying once there was ice buildup was pretty useless.
