I used this to replace some rusted out mount points. Worth it to buy the whole kit even though I only needed some of the parts. Keep the rest in inventory for the next jeep!

If you are just patching up and aren't going to bother removing the rusted parts, this is a cheapish solution, slap it on top after carving out the worst of the rusted parts. However, the better solution would be to remove the old torque box entirely and use a full length replacement part.

Everything worked well. The install takes skill and welding ability, but the parts functioned and fit well.

This repair kit turned out even better than I had imagined. I had a professional welding shop do the work and I am so glad I did! I could have asked for a better repair for my rusted out TJ.
