I looked at several of these and came across this one for about $20 less with free shipping. I was ready to send it back if it was junk, but it was not. Very heavy material and super easy to install. You do have to be able to drill the last hole yourself, but they include the Torx bolt and washers with the plate.

Installed in about 10 minutes. High quality skid plate that adds much needed protection to your steering box if you like to let your Jeep play on the rocks

But it works just as well as the big name brands. The dimensions are identical, and it fit perfectly on my 2005 TJ. I also test fitted it on my 1997 TJ, where it also fit perfectly.

Skid plate looks great and feels solid but it doesn't fully cover the sterring gear. Would give it 4.5, installation took maybe 5 minutes (uses the bumper mounting bolt and steering gear mount). Looks good with the standard black metal bumpers too.

suuuuper easy to install, 2-3 bolts depending on your bumper of choice, takes maybe 5 mins to install assuming your bolts aint seized, and it seems to be made of really thick steel, so it should do the job!

I just have to say this little thing is legit! Same quality and finish as your typical generic Chinese bumper so it blends in perfectly with my EAG. It could not fit any better, and it was so affordable its ridiculous. I did not really need this I do not think but I got this at such a good price I had to have one. Any chance to add a little more armor to the bottom of the TJ is alright in my book. I highly recommend this one!

It was for a lh drive car, few mods needed to fit to rh drive.
