I used this pillow beginning 1 week after my rotator cuff surgery. I was still ordered to sleep with the brace I used all day but it was very uncomfortable to sleep with. I brought this pillow to my physical therapist to make sure she approved of the positioning of my arm while I was laying down. It was a game changer with sleep post surgery. I used it up until about 8 weeks post op. Even though I wasn’t in my sling anymore during the day, I used this pillow at night because it was so comfortable.

The pillow is just like the picture online. I got it for my husband to use following shoulder replacement surgery. It helps to give his arm a rest from the sling and provide support. The pillow is soft but also plump enough to prop his arm and support it in a comfortable position while sitting or laying down. There is a pocket to keep the remote control or his cellphone inside which is helpful to prevent it from slipping through the recliner cushions on the sofa.

I had a first rib resection surgery and this has been a lifesaver. I cannot have my arm hanging so this has helped with that! It’s shaped perfectly to prop my arm up! My sleep quality is much better.

This MOYOAMA rotator cuff pillow seemed like a viable solution to my rotator cuff and bicep tendon pain while I await surgery to repair three major tears. However, this pillow was not comfortable for me when I tried using it laying down, when I have the most pain. In addition, the shoulder strap I received had the snaps attached on the wrong side, making it impossible to velcro the strap in place with room for my average sized arm. The long black fuzzy velcro strip should face out during use, but mine faced in, towards my side, making it nearly impossible to close the velcro fastener or use the pillow when sitting up. As a result, I returned this pillow but I still think it could be a help for some depending on their injury and assuming they receive a properly made strap. I appreciated that the seller reached out to me wanting to make things right, but I opted not to reorder this pillow since the shape wasn't comfortable for me based on the extent of my injury including my bicep tendon. However, this pillow was very soft and squishy, so it might be worth trying if you are suffering from rotator cuff pain only - each injury is different.Note: I am using a soft body pillow and it has helped reduce my shoulder pain during the night. I am also using a microwavable “bean bag†to apply heat while I await surgery.

This was a very essential item for my husband’s Rotator cuff surgery. Functionality was excellent. I would highly recommend for anybody having this surgery.

I'm a physical therapist who had surgery to repair a right rotator cuff tear. At postop week 4 when my surgeon told me I no longer had to wear the shoulder immobilizer, I purchased this to support my right arm so I could sleep more comfortably lying on my left side in bed. I purchased this product "new" and it was delivered stuffed into a clear plastic cylinder shaped bag. Although there was a zipper closure at the top of the bag, the cylinder shaped outer packaging wasn't sealed. In other words, there was no way to tell if this shoulder pillow that was sloppily stuffed in the clear plastic bag was resold to me after someone returned it, and the possibility that it was sent to me after it was used in someone's bed was alarming. That concern was validated when I took it out of the cylinder and noticed beige colored crumb size "stuff" encrusted onto one area of the pillow. The fact that it was resold to me after someone returned it was evident. Moreover, this is nothing more than a poorly manufactured rag. The stitching is uneven and the hand loop is hanging on by a couple of threads. The cheap tiny zipper will never last because the teeth on each side are misaligned, and as such the zipper won't budge unless you pull on it with a lot of force.

My husband constantly raves about how much this has helped his recovery. Highly recommend it and the quality of this pillow is 10/5.

I ordered this cause I was hoping for one that was a little bigger than my old one. As you can see in the photo there is quite a difference in size. I will be returning it I need a bigger pillow and there was a noticeable price difference between my old one and this one costing more.

This support pillow is perfect for after surgery for sleep and work. It’s very soft and excellent firmness, compare to a few other brands I tried. The strap is supportive on the shortest length for a smaller woman, but can be extended for someone larger. I use it for sleeping comfortably and I also use one for supporting my shoulder while sitting at my desk on my computer.
