I purchased this Mr. Heater unit for camping and emergency backup use. I try to test mechanical objects asap after receiving them to make sure they function correctly. This definitely does function as described, lit easily, intuitive controls; low heat is steady and reliable; high heat is solid. Ran it for several minutes on each setting with a 1lb bottle with no issue. I have a hose/filter to connect a 20lb propane cylinder but have not tested that yet. Will report back if there are any issues. So far, it works as advertised and CAN be used indoors even though the instructions say you should not (likely due to liability issues). There are multiple youtube videos showing people using this heater indoors next to a CO meter and it burns very cleanly with no issues. Overall it's a good value and puts out heat!

This is a great heater! You dont ever need to be outside in the cold. This will keep you warm and get the job done. There is also an adaptor you can buy to refill the little green bottles for your larger propane tanks. By doing this it will save you money by refilling the green bottles instead of throwing them away.

The Mr heater buddy heater is an excellent product .puts out lots of heat i used to use 2 electric heaters and this one works by itself .I also have two of the big buddy Mr heater heaters and they are great for larger spaces

I have it in my old barn for the dogs. Has a good tip over cut off. Puts out a lot of heat but does use propane quickly. I use it with a 20 lb tank and it goes through that in two days on low.

We are living in a ten-man tent and it is getting very cold since it is January. This little workhorse is keeping us comfortable and it’s been super-easy to use. To conserve fuel we use the “low†setting and haven’t really needed more, despite high winds and my inability to get the tent closed up a little tighter. Very reliable and highly recommend.

Lo compre para cuando viajo en mi VW Combi y los lugares que visite sean algo frios, pero la realidad es que lo he ocupado en muchas ocasiones para mejorar el ambiente en una habitacion, excelente producto lo recomiendo ampliamente

I found this product on amazon.ca and it was the lowest cost I could find in Canada. It worked great I used it ice fishing and was able to sit in my tee-shirt in -30 degrees celsius in my pop up ice shack. The little bottles last a fairly long time and are easy to transport.However, I bought an attachment cord to hook up the heater to a 30lbs propane tank and it was awesome. No more wasting bottles and the heater would work for a long time I use it camping, hunting and fishing and it works perfectly.It has a shut off incase it tips over and I used it in a confined space with a carbon monoxide detector overnight and the detector never went off once. There are other models that come bigger and with a fan which would give you more heat but I find the heater is nice and compact and easy to store. It lights easily and stays lit with no problems. I have had buried in snow cleaned it off and it works fine. I have even accidentally left it outside in the rain and it still works great. This product is well worth the money and works great in a small space.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a portable heater. It is an awesome product. Reliable, durable and compact. If you are wanting something bigger the Mr.Heater does have a bigger model.
