Mr. LongArm 0150 Angle Adaptor for Extension Pole
From the Manufacturer
The Mr. Longarm Angle Adapter is mounted between your extension pole and whatever threaded tool you are using. It has a 270 degree rotation to fit any angle need and can lock in 13 different positions.

I got one for my extension pole that I use to brush off my gutter guards from the ground. I wanted the brush to face downwards more so I got this angled extender. It works like a charm. The only downside is that the grip between the screw-in part of the extender and the brush head can't handle the sideways forces I put on it when I sweep side to side. It would constantly come loose. I fixed this by putting gorilla expanding glue on the threads. The glue expands and keeps the extender from loosening and rotating now.

- Exactly as described and exactly what I needed. I have an extension pole that I'd gotten around 1993 I think, and to my surprise, it turned out to be a Mr. Long Arm. This widget fit it *exactly*, which seems like an insignificant bit of trivia but is very significant if one is budgeting and needs things to be what they say they are. - I have no idea whether it will fit any other extension pole brand - although most of the screw-on ends seem to be fairly standard, I simply don't know whether or not they actually are. All I know is that this fit my 12-yr-old Mr. Long Arm brand pole... - To change the angle, you loosed the bolt ((the silver dot you can see in the photo at the joint of the item)) by turning a large-ish wing nut on the opposite side. I mention "large-ish" because that makes it EASY TO GRASP AND TURN =;) That stuff matters if you have any arthritis in your fingers =;) - When the bolt is loosened, the angle is changed by disengaging the inter-meshing "teeth", rotating the thing to the desired angle, re-meshing the teeth, and re-tightening the wing nut. The "widget" itself is plastic, but it feels very strong, like the material that drainage grates are made of ((and those things last for many years)), and it won't rust. The bolt is moderately magnetic, so it *is* steel, though I don't know whether it's galvanized plain steel, or some sort of stainless. The Wingnut is plastic and seems to be the same material as the body of the widget.

This is as described and well-priced. It's plastic but it probably doesn't need to be anything sturdier for my painting project. One thing I will clarify is the threads are positioned so your tool lines up flat when tightened, like in the pictures. Meaning, if you need to use a broom to sweep something or a paint roller to roll something, you can angle it down but you won't be able to use it sideways. I needed to use a paint roller on rafters (sideways) so I screwed it in without tightening in, then drilled a hole through the threaded part, tapped some threads in the plastic (you could skip this step and just assume the screw will self-thread into the plastic) and screwed in a screw to hold it together where I needed it. Some others had written they tried to use teflon tape or hose washers to change the point where the threads stopped turning but that didn't work for me.

It screwed on one extension pole, but not another, I don't know why. Back side (not pictured) has what I considered a cheesy plastic wing nut. Seriously, Plastic wing nut? Wonder how long that will last? It did function to hold gutter extension cleaner foot. once attached to it and my 1 extension pole it worked on. An Adjustable lock nut on implement attachment screw post would have been nice, so I can make things fit at the proper angle to use from ground operation with gutter foot attached. Attachment did not come with anything to help in this regard either. no metal wing nut was one star lost, t he other was n o way to affix things in set position - no spacer lock for implement.

I use this at the end of my pole to attach a small broom head so that I can clean my gutter covers. The angle adjusts perfectly and does almost exactly what I wanted.I haven't figured out how to get the angle of the broom head to be square to the angle of the adapter. It has to do with how far the broom head turns until it is tight. I had to modify my broomhead to make it work--but just "OK." If there was another "degree of freedom" in the angle adapter, it would make it perfect, but I know this would be tough to accomplish. Still, 3D spatial things never have been my strong suit, so I'm not giving up yet.

While it does seem like it would be durable, it lacks some way of adjusting the orientation to what it's attaching to once all the way on. I put it on the gutter brush purchased at the same time and when this adapter is screwed in all the way and tightened, there would be no way to correctly use the brush as I would not be able to use it in the manner for which it was intended. They needed to make this so it can also rotate on the other axis.

Bought this for cleaning our RV so I can put it on the end of the long telescoping pole and be able to clean the top of the RV without having to climb all the way up onto the roof which is 13 feet high. Haven’t used it yet but it seems sturdy and I believe it will do the trick

Product works well when a brush or windo washer is installed. The whole unit can make contact with the surface.

Es muy práctico y útil en aquellas areas donde además de la escalera deseamos raspar o colocar una brocha. el ángulo lo hace estupendo para maniobrar mejor

Used this product to attach to my window cleaning kit for my outdoor house windows. I hate having soapy residue and water marks left from spraying the windows because it creates marks. With the angled arm attachment I could successfully attach the arm to the squeegee and get all my windows done within the day!

Works great. Wish it was made of something more sturdy than plastic. We will see how long it lasts.
