No more laying my guitars on a towel for string changes and whatnot. Get this and the neck rest that they sell and you'll be set. I keep it rolled up when not in use so it never really lays flat for me. Not an issue, the guitar keeps it in place while it's in use. Both the mat and the neck rest are very well made. Would buy again for sure.

It works but the two outer edges stay somewhat rolled. Because of this it does not stay completely flat. Otherwise it’s good.

Makes working on your guitar much nicer. One side is cork and the other is grippy for the table side. Having the right tools always makes the job easier and nicer. This is one of those things that you don’t think you need and procrastinate on forever. I am just glad that I finally pulled the trigger and got mine. I am much happier now when I work on my axes. Recommended.

First time I’ve had one of these mats. It has a great silky feel to it but will take a little time to flatten out. Good price and will do the job

I have had a number of different mats for guitar work and this has been my favorite to date. I love the large size for working on bigger instruments like basses. I have seen people comment about mat staying curled at the ends once its unfolded, which does happen. A simple fix is once its unrolled, roll each end the opposite direction for a few seconds and it sits perfectly. It takes slight break in period (not long at all) but I have been using this mat for a while now and it works like a charm. Highly recommended.
