With our high-quality Sun Shields, you can feel fully protected. These Sun Shields are made of premium polyurethane and feature a smoke-tinted Lexan front for extra protection.
MSA Sun Shields are even cost effective! With easy to install and remove sun shields, and a simple cleaning process, these sun shields can be used again and again for protection that lasts! To clean these sun shields, simply wash with a mild soap and water.

Our Sun Shield's are easy to install! Simply turn your safety helmet upside down, insert the clips onto the brim with the tinted lens at the front of the helmet. Turn the helmet back over and insert the rear clip onto the back brim. Insert the free end of the Sun Shield into the channel on the rear clip and snap posts into the holes. To remove the Sun Shield, simply reverse the installation instructions.

This shield is incredibly sturdy; even though my husband uses it every day for work, it hasn't suffered any harm. It is simple to put on and the shield fits around the helmet. The shield does protect your face from the sun.

First off everyone on my job sites wants one now, so if you think you’ll look dumb you’re wrong. Once you add this brim you don’t feel the neck and shoulder heat that you do with just the regular hardhat.Hardhats are hot no matter what but this lowers the heat hitting your neck and shoulders and even your chest and face. It does get caught sometimes when you’re trying to look into smaller places but generally you don’t even know it’s there other than the cooling factor. Easy to install and stays on. It doesn’t affect taking on and off the hat.

I like it. It works. One thing I would like to see is a design where it fits under the brim of the hat so that rain will roll the whole way off rather than beneath the extension/sunshield. I tried putting it on upside down but somehow it doesn't fit and slides down around my neck.

I've tried so many different sun protection choices for my hard hat over the years for when I'm monitoring, and this one is decidedly the most efficient. Many others don't cover the whole face because they are not tilted downward like this one is. There's no bright yellow or neon orange glare reflecting in your eyes all day. The wind can't lift if off your hat and make it go flying, or even just constantly catch the wind in general like ones that are a bit flimsier. Easily the best go-to for additional sun protection for your hardhat.

It does its job perfectly. The only problem is that I work along the beach and a strong wind gust blew the hat off my head and and onto the road. The fall broke one of the clips that hold it on to the hat. I wish I could buy just the clip. I just bought this a week or two ago.

Great purchase. I reordered this item again as I broke the first one by accidentally sitting on it while in my back pocket. lol. Definitely a great buy for my hard hat. Not only does it help keep the sun out of my eyes while I’m looking up at my drill head, but helps keep the rain out of my face too. Very sturdy when on my hard hat and doesn’t flip around.

Cubre bastante bien del sol, solo hay que tener en cuenta el tipo de casco que llevan, debe ser forzosamente MSA y en realidad este modelo funciona bien solo lean bien su tipo de casco, en la parte frontal viene el modelo y chequen que coincidan
