Good, solid clips. Have had the same 3 on my hardhat for 2 years. Been in wet wells, sewers, trenches, you name it. Still haven't broken. These will last you a long time.

The reviews for clips were not very good but I took the plunge and so far these work as they should. I have had them on my hard hat for months and it hold my night light on without issue. Glad I bought them and I had enough to share with a co-worker!

It's a bit of a wrestling match to get a stiff headlamp band into the clips, but once you've got it in there, these are rock solid. The band wants to slide up the round hat, while the clips pull it down toward the brim, so the tension keeps it in place well, even with a lot of movement. The 20 pack is easily enough for five typical hard hats, since you only need four on most designs. If the hat has any projections around the brim, you might want to add a clip or two there to keep the band from kinking, though.Also, if you have a wide brim hat, you'll want to look at the other clips with a longer, angled attachment for those.

As referenced in the descriptive info, these do not work with all helmets.I have 3 hard hats/helmets: 2 white, which accept these clips and work well with them, and 1 green for CERT use. These clips do not work well with the green due to a lip around the outer edge that, presumably, is there to direct rain runoff towards the brim or 'visor' at the front of the helmet. That lip prevents these clips from grasping in more than 2 spots.There ARE 2 indentations inside the helmet, (1 on either side), that accept 1 clip each for a total of 2 clips, but 2 are not enough to hold a head lamp in place properly, particularly if the head lamp uses a strap from front to back down the middle rather than just around the circumference of the helmet.Caveat emptor.

Went to a store they had them 12$ for 4 pcs i got them here for a fraction of the price and gave some out to my friends at work they are great hold strong
