I purchased a ladies sun hat that was a little too big. I couldn't find a better fit because my head is on the smaller side. I was going to live with the larger fit of the hat, but then did a search to see if there was a way I could adjust the hat to fit more tightly. This product came up in my search along with several others from Amazon. These worked like a charm! It only took one of these pads to adjust the fit of my hat. My hat has a interior lining that I just lifted up and placed one of these in the center of the back of the hat. I could have put one in the front as well, but it wasn't necessary. The hat fits great with just the one pad placed in the back. The pack came with several pads ( I chose the 5 in length) half in black ( which I used) and half in white. I was so pleased with the way it worked that I also placed one in my baseball cap and that worked well too. I had no idea this product existed, so I'm thrilled to share this review with others in case you have a head on the smaller side and find it difficult to purchase hats that fit tightly enough.

Exactly what my 8 year old needed. His travel team's fitted baseball cap was VERY big on him - despite XS being the smallest size they had. I'm pretty sure if he sneezed, the hat would have come off. Thankfully, these worked well. I put one in the front and back of the cap. It completely secured the baseball cap. This was definitely quicker and easier than washing the hat several times and roasting it in the dryer. The adhesion doesn't hold very well, if at all, but I guess that can be a good thing considering they can be removed when my son grows out of the hat.
