Bought these to replace the straps on an old MSR showshoe, whose straps had cracked with age. They were an exact replacement, and worked perfectly.

Recently all six straps on my 15-year-old MSR Ascents snapped in half on a trek. Not fun returning on foot. I thought I would have to replace the entire binding setup but then I found these. I bought extra strap keepers so that I would have two per strap, with the slots opposed to each other. On the next hike, none of the straps came loose and I had a perfect day.

These worked well to replace brittle 20 yr old MSR straps. However, make sure to keep the plastic clips from your old snowshoes that are used to hold the snowshoe straps in place during use. The new straps don't come with those clips.

I have a pair of MSR Denali classic used almost every winter. They have been through a lot of tough side hilling, rocks, steep hills. That is hard on me and the straps. I bought the shoes in 2005 and only replaced 2 straps since after all these miles. I would buy again.

I was able to replace a couple of broken straps on an old pair of snowshoes with these. $20 well spent.

With all the snow we got recently, I started snow shoeing again. But the straps on my MSR Evo snapped from old age. These are great replacement, not cheap when you consider the price of new snow shoes, it is not that bad.

Die in die Jahre gekommenen Riemen der Erstausstattung sind mir in Lappland bei minus 31 Grad gebrochen. Okay, zu kalt, aber ich hatte keine Zeit auf den Frühling zu warten und wollte los. Ich hoffe, dass die Ersatzriemen nun wieder ein paar Jahre halten.
