I've bought other egg crates that were much thinner. These are very sturdy. Extra large eggs are no problem for these egg crates.

These are your standard pulp egg cartons. They seem to be good quality and value. However, I purchased them for duck eggs. Extra large cartons usually fit my runner duck eggs, but these do not. So if you’re looking for cartons that fit duck eggs, you might have to spend a little more and buy actual duck egg cartons. If you just have large chicken eggs these are a good value for the price.

These cartons are very good quality and do their job well- they hold the eggs perfectly, close very easily- I do think at $1 a carton they are a little expensive!! Not sure why!!!
