These Hex Flange Nuts are what holds the mower blades on my Cub Cadet GT1554 54" deck.Its so much easier working with new clean flange nut that get beat up in the sandy rocky soil that my grass grows in. I mow about 3+ acres about every week now that we are getting rain.Put some Hoppe's Gun oil on the threads ensures proper torque and ease of removal next time blades need resharpening.

Removed rusted, beaten old nuts from Craftsman mower and thought these would be difficult to install. Cleaned the threads and these went on with ease. Price was fair compared to other sellers.

Glad I ordered these when I bought the spindle kit. The old ones were trashed and they arrived around the same time as the other deck parts. Mower cuts better than ever!

Worked on our Pony riding mower. If you cant remove old ones a dremel quicklock metal cutting blade will cut them off. Go at a shallow angle and then use a metal chisel to split them. I used blue threadlock to keep these on and a touch of antiseize higher up the threads to keep them from being stuck again! Always replace these after a blade change, they are basically 1 time use lock nuts. My friend had her blades replaced by a shop and they reused them and didn't threadlock and her blades flew off while mowing!!

Even if the size is a little smaller than the original ones, they fit perfectly and seems to be strong. Time will let us know..
