Works for 2009 troy bilt pony. If your parking brake isn't holding replace these and have brakes again. Forgot how good the brakes work, just press the brake/clutch pedal and mower slows down! Easy to replace, just 2 bolts, pull off brake disc and pop off old pucks, place new ones and bolt it back. I sanded the brake disc since it had a shine to it and that probably helps versus it being shiny.Easier to do with mower deck off, so if taking deck off grab these and replace then. Feel a bit safer having brakes after not having any for so long worth the money!

They fit, and they work. You have to have brakes.

"Got Em!" I wouldn't know what a 'good' tractor break pad is if it hit me on the head continuously for two weeks. But, these work fine as I park on the side of hills and on uneven ground. One heck of a lot better that the worn down ones I took off.It didn't take long to change them, Youtubed how to do it. Most videos just reuse the old ones, don't do it, these are cheap enough for the stopping power.

My 2009 Yardman brake pads wore out after 13 years. I bought these replacements in July 2022. The brakes were restored to functional, which is particularly important on my hilly land. One year later the brakes stopped working, which was discovered while on a hill so that was exciting! I adjusted the tension bolt but brakes wouldn't work. Upon disassembly I found the pads essentially melted. I now realize that they didn't look to be the same material as advertised, rather just plastic. I have a feeling that I received cheap, plastic pads, not the OEM that look to be a sort of fiber material with embedded "grit".
