I've had one of these lights for over two years and just bought another. The battery lasts a long time, and they're easy to charge. You can charge while using. This light is so versatile because it clips onto things, has two lights that work independently of each other, has flexible necks and three brightness settings. I use one clipped to my nightstand drawer so I can easily see everything I need without waking my early-to-bed husband. It's very handy for finding dropped items because the necks are so flexible. I use the other in my home office clipped to a document stand so I can see the text in a room that lacks much natural light. This light is not glaring and is a nice white. The clip is strong enough not to slide around but is very easy to use. I've bought several "reading" lights over the years. This is the best. The lights that hang around the neck are too heavy and give me a headache. Other lights don't shed enough light on a book because they only have a single light. Lights that do shed light over a whole book are too bright and glaring. Batteries in other lights don't last long enough or quit working altogether. This is the only light I will use to read in bed because I can shine the lights on both pages independently and they don't wake my husband. I've bought these lights for other family members after they saw mine. I highly recommend.

Love that this light doesn't weigh much and provides lots of light. Used it in a wreath to light a nativity scene for Christmas.

I've had a couple different styles of these. This is the brightest and yet, it doesn't burn through the batteries like some others do. If I need another one, this is the one.

THIS CLIP ON MUSIC STAND LIGHT WAS WHAT I NEEDED. I'M SATISFIED WITH THE BRIGHTNESS. UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THE LIGHTS DID NOT WORK. NOR DOES THE USB CORD. FOR THESE 2 REASONS, I ONLY RATED 3 STARS. HOWEVER, BECAUSE OF THE LOW PRICE, I DECIDED TO REORDER A REPLACEMENT.

We were actually looking for artwork lighting but everything we found (which I am sure is excellent) was way too expensive for us. Eventually we stumbled across lights for Music Stands or Books. It looked very promising. We bought three. Two of them look great, as shown in the photos (taken at night in an unlighted room). The third one is not bright enough for the location we have it and the size of the picture. But two out of three is not that bad. We are very pleased that these worked for artwork lighting. Very pleased.

Not consistent. I purchased three of these for my kids rooms. Two work fine. The third didn’t work right from the start. IfThe battery cover was on, the lights wouldn’t turn in. They only worked if the cover was off. It was on for a few minutes then the light started to smell and when my daughter touched it it burned her! The battery was burned and the outer wrapping of the battery coiled off. Too risky to use.UPDATE: now a second light started burning the batteries!! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!! I forgave the first burned light but for 2 of the 3 to malfunction like this makes them unsafe to have in my house, especially as reading lights for my children. Not cool.

I ordered the light to clamp onto my embroidery stand and brighten my project when stitching at night. It works very well for that purpose. The brightest setting is exactly what I needed. The two independently positioned heads allow me to focus both on my project for maximum brightness, or I can shine one on my project and the other on my pattern chart.All that being said, this light gets three stars because the battery case is unusable, so I can only use the light with an external power bank. The batteries push the battery cover out of place and pop out. I tried taping the battery case closed, but the light still wouldn't work because I guess the batteries were still popping out just enough to not make a full connection.I'm glad the light can be powered via USB, at least, and I've been using it that way. However, it uses a proprietary plug instead of a standard micro-USB or USB-C connecter, so if I lose the cord this light will become entirely useless. When I ordered it, I thought the USB power option would mean a standard connector, which was a high priority since I travel often and want to be able to travel with fewer cords when possible.The brightness and adjustable heads are great, so I'm going to keep using it with a power bank to avoid creating more electronic waste. However, I would not buy this light again because of the defective battery case and lack of standard micro-USB or USB-C cord for powered use.
