The light has 4 brightness settings and the clip is strong. Goosenecks on lamps are very handy with decent range of motion.

This is a nice little light. I give private lessons and my living room it quite dark even with all the lamps on! Now we're able to see the music better! I would prefer it to be a touch brighter. There are 2 settings for brightness, but I don't feel like there is much difference between them in terms of brightness. Overall though, it is a helpful little lamp!

This music rack light is nicely made. It comes with a USB power cord but it also will run on three AAA batteries (not included). It seems to be as good as more expensive models.

nice and bright - 2 lights/2 levels give 4 different settings...only 4/5 because base clip isn't that strong and can come off somewhat easily
