95% perfect fit on my MIM 50s road worn Pbass. All holes lined up except one. Pickup cover holes also lined up. Had to enlarge the holes for the v/t controls just a bit. I can't speak to the long term quality of it, but right now it looks awesome on my bass.

Said it was for a p bass. First aftermarket pickguard I have purchased that fits well but does not have the same amount of screw holes for a standard p bass and has predrilled holes for pickup covers which mine does not have. Waste of money.

Replaced the standard gold aluminized pickguard with this 1 ply black pickguard. Added the chrome pickup cover. 9 of 10 mounting holes were perfect center. Recommend!!

This is not a Fender Japan pickguard nor are the holes in the correct places, we were replacing a damaged fender Japan pickguard and the holes come nowhere near original. Not worth the price nor the extra shipping. Sorry

Installed this pickguard in place of a genuine Fender gold anodized pickguard.It's got a cool semi-matte satin sheen to it, so from a distance it resembles a black anodized aluminum pickguard, which is what I was hoping for.The holes for the volume and tone pots are a little undersized, so if your bass uses standard U.S.-sized pots (like CTS), you'll need to enlarge the existing holes to fit those pots. Best tool for this job is the General Tools No. 130 T-Handle Reamer, which is available on here, or you can find one in just about any hardware or home improvement store. With the reamer, it's a 3-4 minute mod, and gives you very professional results.

The quality and finish of this guard is really very good. I put it on a custom body, so I can't speak to the accuracy of the drilling, but the neck pocket and pickup cavity cuts are perfect. I will definitely buy again.

He comprado éste golpeador para sustituir el original de otro color en un Squier Precision Bass. Al principio me temÃa que, como advierte el anuncio, no es compatible con la gama Squier. Sin embargo, he comprobado que la colocación es totalmente compatible. Tan sólo he tenido un poco de problema con los agujeros para los tornillos perimetrales. Tiene 10 agujeros y no 13 como en mi Squier. Sin embargo, nueve de ésos agujeros encajan en el mismo lugar, con lo cual sólo queda uno libre en el golpeador y se puede poner el tornillo haciendo un nuevo agujero en el cuerpo del instrumento. Aún asÃ, en la zona de los reguladores de volumen y tono, el golpeador queda algo elevado y conviene acabarlo haciendo un par de agujeros con un taladro en el plástico del golpeador. En resumen, en el caso que como yo tengas un Squier, debes apañarte un poco para acabar de hacer el golpeador complatible y que quede bien. Cuidado también con qué Squier tienes y cuenta los agujeros originales, pues imagino es posible que ediciones con años de diferencia puedan variar en ello.

… und auch für den 50s Vintera Bass! Gute Qualität & preisgünstig, das Pickguard gefällt mir besser als das eloxierte Serien-Pickguard.P.S.: Die Löcher für Volume- & Tone-Poti musste ich etwas aufbohren, da sie für US-Potis zu klein sind.
