F-ONE gives wood its life back. F-ONE is formulated using a complex mixture of the finest ultra refined tree and seed oils to clean, condition & protect your fretboard/fingerboard. 100% free of any lemon oil extracts, waxes, petroleum distillates, silicone, and water. We chose not to use any lemon oil because it contains d-limonene, which is a strong solvent that is used to remove paint and glue. In addition, we believe the high acidity levels of lemon oil can dry out the fretboard over time and require more frequent fretboard care. F-ONE leaves your fretboard looking new, playing great and feeling smooth, never sticky or tacky. Our revolutionary formula penetrates & conditions the wood to dry fast and give it a new look for months. We use 100% naturally produced oils and is safe on all unfinished rosewood, ebony and maple fretboards. F-ONE oil is preferred by some of the most respected repair shops in the world. F-ONE is a registered trademark of Big Rock Innovations LLC, all rights reserved.

Nice oil, my guitars' fretboards look rich and luxurious! This bottle will last me a lifetime. Glad I went with a quality brand. I even used it on my acoustic guitar's wooden bridge and it looks rich and refurbished.

I've got a brand new Martin Deluxe guitar, that has no finish on the ebony fretboard. Fretboards have to be protected from natural skin oils and other gunk on the fingers that end up on the guitar. What to do?Boiled Linseed oil? This worked fine on my Washburn beater guitar, but a new Martin??Many fretboard treatments contain lemon oil, but I know lemon oil to contain compounds that might harm wood in the long run. After reading many reviews I decided on this product. I am delighted with the decision. The fretboard came to life. It's beautiful and is now protected.I was very concerned about about the odor; some reviewers complained about the smell. I am very sensitive to fragrances and smells. My product was odorless, or if anything, had the benign odor of mineral oil when applied. I just sniffed the oil that was applied 10 minutes ago. There is no odor at all when the guitar is held in playing position, and only the faintest, faintest odor when my nose was an inch away. The odor is a non-issue to me. (And I tend to fret about everything...HA!)Other reviewers complained that the bottle leaked. This product had over 6,000 reviews; that is to say, over 6000 bottles were sold through Amazon alone. Odds are that a few bottles will leak. The final deciding factor for me was when I watched a video from Sweetwater and the camera inadvertently scanned across a bottle of F-One. I have the highest regard for Sweetwater, and if they use this stuff, it's good enough for me.To sum up: I prefer to use fretboard treatments that do not use lemon oil, or products that have any fragrance, and products with a history of performance. I'm delighted that I chose F-One.

I have only had it for a few days, so I cannot give much information on the product yet. Although it seems like it would be a good product.I have just used it on the fretboard of a "used" (pre- owned mountain dulcimer and it seemed to enhance the look of the fretboard. I hope it will be long- lasting.

I have used F-One fretboard oil for about 7 years - ONE bottle; I service (and build custom) guitars, basses - including upright bass - mandolins, banjos and ukuleles.; and if I hadn't lost my old bottle I wouldn't have had to reorder for quite a while - likely another year! All you need is a dab about the size of a quarter soaked into one layer of soft cloth, and that will clean/condition an entire unsealed fingerboard - fretted or fretless. NO oil should be used on maple or other SEALED and/or finished fretboards. It conditions as well as plain mineral oil, but cleans gunk off better (really caked boards should be cleaned with naphtha first, which won't hurt binding or finishes like lacquer). Many suggest using lemon oil or a lemon oil based cleaner/conditioner - and after servicing guitars since the 1970's I have seen many fretboards ruined by lemon oil, which looks great at first - but dries the wood rather than preserving natural oils. DON'T use lemon oil, even on finished boards, where it seeps into fret joints, often causing fret popping (naphtha is the cleaner for finished and sealed fingerboards).F-One, like mineral oil, only does its work on unsealed mahogany, rosewood, ebony, koa, etc. - plus bridges and backs of necks if finish has been removed. DON'T use any oil on parts that will be glued together prior to gluing, unless you allow a year or so for full drying! This is GREAT stuff - FWIW I receive no monetary or product compensation from any company I write a review for - my reviews are unbiased.Use F-One's fretboard oil and you'll likely only buy one bottle for decades of use.HIGHLY recommended. The ONLY one I recommend.

Easy to use application.Product cleans, conditions and provides a slight shine without being overwhelming.I used this on a LP kit neck that had never been conditioned (as far as I could tell) 1st coat/ applications soaked in quickly, so I reapplied two more times for added protection and durability.

Me gusto mucho por qué se absorbe bien y no deja pegajoso como el aceite de limon, y tiene buen brillo

This is an excellent product that I use on the fretboards of all my guitars - electric and various acoustics. It returns the board to a healthy condition and is very easy to apply.NOTE: I had asked whether or not this could be used on a violin. Most said yes, with some saying if the finger board was not sealed/coated. MusicNomad replied to me directly, saying about the same thing. One fellow said that he did not think so as most violins are coated. Before receiving the last fellow's note and thinking that the fingerboard looked like a dark wood, I applied the oil. It did not (seep) into the "wood". So I wiped it off. The white cloth I used was slightly darkened, but that could have been dirt on the fingerboard. There was no discoloration or damage done at first look. Closer inspection of the instrument showed that the fingerboard was dark and looked a bit like a graphite. Bottom line, everyone was correct in that it was "yes", you could use it on a violin, with caveate. The last fellow to respond to my question was most right. No.Still an exceptional product which I will continue to use on all of my "guitars". Love it.

Super produit, nettoie bien le manche vu la couleur de mon chiffon et redonne de l'éclat et de la brillance aux frettes.

I have built several diy guitar kits in the last couple of months and used this product on the fretboard before stringing up. It is very easy to apply, just a few very small dots along the fretboard, rub it in with a finger, leave for a couple of minutes and then buff the fretboard with a lint free cloth. The fretboard now feels in excellent condition with a slight lustre and very smooth feel to it. although it is a very small bottle, so little is needed per application it will last a very long time.
