I used fast fret for years but started to feel like it left a sticky residue. This stuff works great without any stickiness and seems to really make my strings last longer and sound new for a long time.

I have experience with this string cleaner, and the D'Addario XLR8 Cleaner. Between the two, this one feels like mostly a cleaner, while the XLR8 feels like it has a bit more lubricant. I prefer the XLR8 slightly, as it's sort of like a coated string (the Elixir feel without having to use Elixir Strings, which are weak and break a lot). However, some people find that coated string feel to be "too smooth", so the MusicNomad cleaner here is a better choice for a more subtle improvement. Either way, string cleaners are good and will save you money/time in the long run.The microfiber storage in the other end of the applicator is a nice touch. Also smells nice.

I use this every day before and after I play my guitar. I always wash my hands before playing and apply this to the strings and back of neck on gloss finishes. This makes for easy and much more effortless playing. The hand moves much easier across the fretboard. Strings last longer too. This product and brand is recommended by the founder of Vigier Guitars of France. This why I started using it. I used other similar products in the past and was looking for an approved product for my Vigier. I wish I tried this stuff sooner. Smells amazing too. All their products are the same quality.

The design and quality of the sponge is great. The width of the enclosure however, is a little too big for me to feel comfortable putting it between my strings at full tension. I also don't want to loosen the strings because then the neck itself isn't under proper tension. I could see the added tension this would put on adjacent strings messing with saddle notches over time.I've instead mounted it inside the case where my acoustic guitar cutoff is and it fits perfect. I doubt it will be as effective vs putting it directly into the sound hole, but Musicnomad needs to redesign the enclosure so it's not putting as much tension on strings.

I wondered why my nice new stings quickly discolored soon after replacing them. Common knowledge to someone who has been playing longer than me, but skin oils are tough on them. This cleaner works really well, and I have seen no discoloration on my strings since using this.Good price and a great company. I called for some support and they were very helpful. I highly recommend using this for your guitar.

Estupendo kit para limpiar las cuerdas después de usar la guitarra , tiene un olor muy agradable y en mi caso vivo en un lugar de clima tropical y mucha humedad y salitre , y este producto incrementa el tiempo de vida de mis cuerdas !!! Lo recomiendo muchÃsimo !!!
