The machine is more suitable for drilling non-rigid materials, such as wood, plastic, acrylic, soft metals (such as aluminum, copper, etc.), it is recommended to drill metal holes with a depth of no more than 1 cm/0.39 inch.
When drilling metal, you need to add water or oil to cool the drill bit.
When drilling 0.39 inch thick aluminum blocks, please add water or oil to cool the drill bit, and multiple drilling operations may be required.

Overall the build quality is good for the value but the ratio on the motor means it's way go fast for drilling anything. Fabbed up a nice motor sleeve and a spare pwm controller. Now the right speed and torque is maintained. Will work well for many years.

This drill is much smaller than it appears on the web page. It is built well and sturdy but does bind up when I attempted to use a 3/16†drill bit on thin aluminum.

The drills assembly and durability is great. It works wonderful, but the power supply could be better, so far the power supply works OK.

Works fine and has multiple speed settings. Seems powerful enough and didn't get hot after drilling a few small holes in aluminum. Needs some reference points to help with alignment. Because there are no reference points or stops to align the material to be drilled it takes considerable amount of time to set the drill up to drill.

Seems like a solid, well constructed little drill perfect for my purposes. It ran quietly and smoothly for 30 seconds before the power adapter crapped out. The power source was standard 120V. Disappointing. Hopefully this is a fluke and the replacement won't be a problem.

Got one as a gift.Light is on when the switch is on 0. Drill is off.Light goes off and still no drilling when the switch is flipped to |.
