Take a close look at all the other bike racks and you will see that they take the lazy (aka cheap) way out in their design; the tubes overlap with a through bolt. This rack has a much higher end design. The tubes are cut to intersect one another with threads added on the ends of the intersecting tubes; a much more difficult to manufacture design. This design creates a much cleaner and high quality appearance. My only complain is that the provided fasteners are socket head cap screws zinc plated, so they standoff the frame really tall and shine compared to the dark frame. Shame they did not go the extra mile and use black fasteners with a low profile head; same cost but a much better design aesthetic. Only one small note is that using this rack indoors would require the addition of anti-slip / anti-scratch pads as the racks moves really easily across a smooth floor.

This is well made, easy to assemble, solid and sturdy (though like others noted it is packaged terribly and I had to supply my own hex bolts to finish assembling it). Sadly, the base struts are too short for a 29er 2.0 and up tire to roll in and fit securely, preventing me from using it to store both my MTBs with my road bikes, so I've got to get rid of it now.

There are more robust bike racks out there, but this is a great bang-for-your-buck, by comparison. Went together solid and secured it outside my building to the ground. Unfortunately, two bikes have been stolen off of it, BUT! it is completely unscathed. I recommend U-locks, people.

This is a decent rack. Very very easy to assemble - I asked my 10 year old to do it. Holds 4 bikes comfortably.
