I bought this as it was base wire for low voltage but a good bit cheaper. I was hoping it would be okay for a base install but ended up being really good and works great. I didn't care about the red as the wire is hidden and I could spray it if needed so as long as that isn't an issue this is a great option.

I used this 18 gauge wire to set up additional USB charging stations in my truck. I ran connections from the existing lighter to two separate spots on the center console—one for the front seat and one for the back seat.This wire was fantastic to work with. It was flexible and durable, making it easy to thread through tight spaces and corners without any damage.Soldering was straightforward with this wire—it took solder quickly and didn't overheat or damage the casing. Its size also made it easy to use with heat shrink tubing to seal connections.The USB ports work perfectly with both USB-A and USB-C connections.I'm planning to use the same wire to add USB ports in my wife's car and expect no issues. I highly recommend this wire for any internal 12-volt vehicle circuits.
