My neighbor had these hanging is his second car that was not used so I asked about them. I bought this not knowing exactly what I was looking for and seeing there were 2 different types I figured it would be as good as any to test what works best. The bags are small and I need to hang 2 at a time so next time I will order the larger bags so I can just use one. They are awesome! You can see them filling up with water as they draw the moisture from the vehicle and help prevent molding. They don’t last the longest here in Washington State so a person would need 6 or so of the larger ones to get through the fall and winter months for a reference point if you are interested. The little plastic containers are about useless as far as I can tell. I have tried one alone, two together alone and one in combination with a small bag and they don’t seem to do much. The only time I saw any results at all was with one alone and it pulled very little moisture in comparison to the hanging bags. I’ve tried them on the floor of the vehicle, the seat and on the dashboard and still they are basically useless. If you are in a wet state like I am and have problems with vehicle mold the bags are the answer to that. Great product that I will be buying every year going forward.

This product is equal to the expensive brands. The smell freshens the areas in my basement that hold the dampness. It absorbs moisture and makes it smell so much better. I used them in my camper when it is closed up between trips.
