These are a great value for money and there pleasant light scent, but it is not over powering. I do love how you are able to see them work over time with the collected water. These help with removing water and moisture from the air. They are easy to use and the size of them help to put them in a corner of a room. Clean up is easy by just throwing them away, but be careful if they have collected water so they don't make a mess. The lifespan of use depends on the amount of moisture collected.

I live along the CA coast and we have a lot of moisture. I removed the foil cover and put these into the back of the closets. Like magic, no mold in the closets. The beads collected the moisture and dissolved in about 3 months. I didn’t understand the purpose of the white paper film until I went to remove and replace the containers and found one of them tipped over on its side, yet NONE of the liquid spilled out, thankfully. The white film allows moisture to flow into the container but not back out. A huge win for me!!!! Price per unit is good, they r easy to use and when replaced consistently reduce or eliminate excess moisture in a small area like a small closet.

Effectively removes excess humidity from our travel trailer. Easy to use, convenient shape for fitting in spots, super easy to set up once you’ve done one: Tear off protective plastic cover from each container, pop off black mesh lid, tear off protective seal (but not cloth part), snap lid back on, and place where you need a little moisture control. Done! Great quality, easy to see through opaque sides—water level and charcoal pieces. NO SCENT OR SMELL, even as it fills with water. I’m allergic to fragrance so that’s Super!!!!

I had been using my he standard moisture containers you get from West Marine but I noticed they would be good for a week or two and be full. Which I understand that means it took the moisture out of the air. But it’s taking ALL of the moisture which I can’t imagine is that necessary. I used the ones i purchased on Amazon and my boat smells good, the air isn’t insanely dry that it feels like I’m sleeping in the desert and they’ve lasted well into 3-4 weeks now. I’m using these from now on.

I put two in my basement to prevent damp and the lavender repels moths naturally with a pleasant scent that's not overwhelming. One in the bathroom and one in the RV. Keeping two for spring when it rains more.
