These were a good Value for the Resin Assistant build. Included everything I needed for linear motion and I only needed to buy some aluminum extrusion and 3D Print my parts. Saved a ton of time. More like this please. The bearing quality isnt the best but they get the job done. If I was using this for a 3D Printer I would remove the retaining clips and put drylin bearings instead. Other than that it was a great kit at a great price.

The linear bearings run smooth, and the stepper motor drives it fine. The screw has four threads so it drives pretty fast. I am using a NEMA 17 stepper motor to drive it, and at 200 steps per revolution, it moves the "table" I attached 1/25' of a millimeter with each step. The only thing this kit could use would be some cross members to attach all the parts to. Could also use another eight M4 x0.7 screws.

The rails seem to be straight. The linear bearings seem to work. Another reviewer guessed they may have used rocks instead of bb's... That may be true. These are somewhat functional, but certainly rough.

This is an amazing product. The whole things glides as if there was no friction. I have no complaints about the quality. However, I was only sent one bag of screws, which only had 3 screws. There were no other screws to hold any of the parts together. I'm not sure if I was supposed to get more or none at all. The description doesn't really mention them, but since I was sent a bag with just a few screws, I assume they were meant to be included. I wish they'd send all of the screws needed.

Not sure if I received a lemon set or what, but these are the worst bearings I’ve ever seen. I’ve been building CNC’s and 3D printers for almost a decade so I’m fully aware that these aren’t top of the line. Out of the box, 2 of the bearing blocks were unusable as they had so much play that I could shift them 1/8†on the rod to either side. The other two seemed ok, but while sliding them (still on the rail) the bearings started falling out. This application is for a router lift, so having tiny bearings falling out next to a blade spinning at 9,000 RPM isn’t just inconvenient, it’s dangerous.The lead screw and pillow block seem fine, but because everything else is defective, I’ll be returning and picking up a better set elsewhere.

The product introduces and excellent price point for beginners. The following is a list of pros and cons that I have observed with this product:-PROs1. Price. It is very low cost and most people can afford it.2. The machining is straight and accurate. Rods are straight and everything fits together as intended.3. Pre-tapped holes4. Makes it necessary for a beginner to get hands on experience in cleaning and/or upgrading bearings. This is essential experience for anyone building CNC, 3D printers, or other robotics.-CONs1. The set I received was short 16 screws necessary for 4 blocks.2. Has a severe lack of detail and specifications about the product.3. The supplier does not offer information about the hardware dimensions, specifically about the screws so a person can order the necessary hardware separately.Overall I rate this product 3/5.The changes that the supplier would have to make for me to give a 5/5 rating are to include more specifications, links and information for replacement hardware, and a short guide or link to a guide for cleaning and updating the bearings.

All okay except that the shaft couplings seem to be 6mm diameter and hence don't fit the lead screw. I'm not planning to use them anyway and I suppose I could drill them out if I wanted to. Can understand why the set would include a generic size given the range of stepper motor drive shaft sizes around. The thing I'm most relieved about is that the 8mm rods are dead straight with no hint of a bend.
