I was looking for a new optic for my shotgun and I wanted something fairly basic but sturdy that would hold up to it. I have seen this sight before but after learning that it was plastic, I passed on it. Then I found this one, which isn't plastic but metal! Aluminum to be exact, but I knew this would be the optic for me. The packaging was very nice and well designed, as well as sturdy. Inside was extra batteries, a cleaning cloth, and instruction manual. I didn't know before but I learned from the packaging that NCStar has a lifetime warranty, which gives me confidence in the optic.The optic feels nice, sturdy, and solid while being basic. Basic is good for an optic that has to live through the recoil of a shotgun and this optic excels at it. The red dot hasn't moved, and the windage/height adjustments are easy to use and stay put. This is the first NCStar product I have used, but since I've had such a good experience so far, I will be trying other products of theirs.Would recommend to others looking for a basic, reliable optic.

Good sight for 15 bucks not the fanciest but it cuts the job lens fog up when its cold. But well constructed sight NC star has great products. Yet to test at the range.

Item does not adjust to account for a 1 inch variation from barrel height. Customer service is not timely.

built like a cereal box toy, I wouldn't use it for anything real maybe Airsoft or pellet gun but yeah, would not use it if life depends on it
