I was able to modify this cable to work with my John Deere Z425 Zero Turn mower. The mounting holes lined up and I was able to cut the cable to length. Worked for me. Seems to operate smoothly.

Used it for a different application. With a few modifications it works great. Decently made. Worth the price. Fast shipping as well.

I bought 2 of them to replace the throttle cable and choke cable on my old Dixon zero turn they look like the original ones but I had to fabricate the mounts for it the rivets may not be very tight it makes for a strange feel when using the controls after installation

This lever is pretty basic. The bracket and lever are stamped steel, decently sturdy, with a riveted pivot and plastic friction spacer. The lever has a nice solid plastic ball which does have a noticeable ridge at the mold parting line that you may want to sand down. The cable housing is a pretty beefy steel spiral with a rubber jacket. The operating wire is solid galvanized steel with a dogleg to attach to the carburetor. No attachment hardware is included. It was packaged in a large padded envelope in about a 10" coil which was nice in that the large coil didn't leave a set in the cable. It took a long time to ship so not a good choice if you are in a hurry to make a repair.
