I purchased these for my daughter's birthday party. The kids painted tiny terracotta pots, then took them home to plant seeds in them. I wanted washable paints because this was a 6 and under crowd (so a bit messy). These were great! Every kid got their own set of paints and brushes, no messy palettes or mixing colors. I have a bunch left over I'll keep for other parties, play dates, and craft days. After the paint dried, I sprayed each pot with a clear gloss spray paint to seal the color from water, and that worked really well!

This product is great in that it has many different colors and even the paint brush, but if you are a teacher thinking this is good for your 1st grade students - think again. You will spend what seems like hours opening all of the individual tops for 20+ students yourself. You also may break not one, but two fingernails in the process. To summarize: Good for small groups of children - Bad for classrooms where the student population does not have very strong finger skills.

I live in a nursing home . The other residents and I need stuff to do to keep us occupied. I ordered these paints and other items to paint . The paints are great and easy to clean off our hands .
