Put on my honda crf230f. Fit great. Easy installation. Just the right size. I Can still slide forward. My phone works fine under the clear plastic and like the waterproof feature. The excess on the straps is kind of a pain to deal with but not much of an issue. This is my second nelson rigg product and i find them to be good quality and reasonably priced. Really like this tank bag.

Once again Nelson Rigg built another quality bag. I am not big on tank bags, but they are very convenient to access compared to a tail bag. This bag is quite large, maybe too big until I get comfortable with it. I like the position and the quality of the straps, the adjustable divider, zipper pocket inside as well as the material which seem to be waterproof, but haven’t tested. The clear map window which is supposed to be touch screen friendly didn’t work for me the first day for some reason, but is working now (could be phone related or user?).In order to make the lid waterproof there is a flap that goes over it, so it takes two hands to unzip it. Overall a good purchase, but I might consider a smaller bag in my preference.

First I was looking for a tank bag for my A/T when I came across Rigg Gear bag for the price thought I would take a chance and glad I did, it took me a little while to get it installed like I wanted to but once installed and adjusted it was a great fit. Really like the appearance of it and quality is great the zipper is a little stiff to begin with but loosens up some but would rather have a good quality one than something loose and breaking on me. I have ridden in a really hard rain and no leaks so waterproof yes all my things were dry. Like the straps and the quick release which once properly installed can be reconnected easily. The only thing like the other reviews is that I wish it was a little bigger then it would be a really great tank bag. Would definitely buy again if they did because overall a great product.

Pros:Very well waterproofed, I have zero fear of my phone getting wet with this bag. Mud, water and rain don't worry me like a handlebar phone mount would. Its shape makes it slender enough to get your legs forward when trying to stand over the tank of the bike. You can tell its there, but it doesn't really get in the way when trying to dig your knees into the tank.Refueling is pretty easy. Just disconnect the front two buckles and lift the bag vertically to expose your fuel cap. When done refueling, just flip the bag back down and clip the front buckles back in.Cons:I will say that in the 3 years I have had this bag, I have had it replaced under warranty twice now. Both times the zipper started to separate from the rest of the bag in a corner.Phone slot size is just big enough for my S21+ to squeeze in and still get the Velcro closed even with a slim case. Any phone that is taller than that or has a thicker case will not probably not fit.Recap:I originally ordered this bag in 2021 for my WR250R, and I will say I have been pleasantly surprised with both the product and Nelson Riggs customer support. I think this is a good bag for the money. Compared to how much other brands are, this one offers a lot of value for the dollar. One other thing to also note is the customer service. Both times the zipper separated, I filled out the warranty claim on their website, and the next day I was contacted by the warranty department. By the day after, I had a tracking number and my replacement bag was shipped. Now, is a higher end bag like a Giant Loop objectively more durable? Yes. But if its worth the extra money to someone just starting out, is a matter of opinion. My thought is why spend the extra money when the company so far has stood behind their warranty. If this bag is what's in your price range, its a hard one to beat.

Well made tank bag purchased as a gift for my son’s KLR-650. His old one was faded and falling apart, this new style is made well and looks to be made perfectly for the steep sloped KLR tank. Water proof, easy to open and quite voluminous for lots of items. Map window and attachment straps are all well made and look to be made for hard use. Overall construction is of rubber or flexible pvc vinyl and the colorway is subdued and spot on. Great tank bag for a fraction of the cost of a comparable giant loop, wolfman or Moscow Moto.

I have over 7000km on my bag. Many small trips and one long trip of 4500km to route de norte and the trans tiaga. This bag has seen it all. Blistering sun, hard rain down pours while riding and while sitting, hail, bugs, dust and dirt. It has not let me down. It has always kept what I needed it to securely attached to my motorcycle, keeping it dry and clean. It has tons of space for whatever you need to bring and it is quality built closing quickly and smoothly. Its easy to installed ( with detailed instructions on how to just incase) and even when installed, its super easy to remove with four quick buckles and your off with it. Only thing I did different is a mounting mine turn 180 degree so that where the zippers meets points towards my handle bars. This lets me run a head phone cable out or charging cable as it doesn't have a cable access slit. It has a skirt that covers over the zippers tightly so I believe it is still relatively water proof but don't hold me to that. I think a bag like this is essential for anyone who has a motorcycle and want to use it regularly. No need to put your phone and wallet in jacket pockets and have them bumping around on you or weighting your jacket down. Throw them in the bag and forget about them, they are safe and sound. The zippers do have an eyelet for a tiny lock but honestly it wouldn't take much to get into the bag so just quickly pop it off and take it with you if your worried.

This item seems robust and fits the application well . It could have been a bit larger for my needs but I will adapt . Mounting system works well to get it out of the way when I need to fill up .
